Steven Isaacson

It’s that time of year again! The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law has extended warm welcomes to three new members of the team: Steven Isaacson, Mandy Jiang, and Kaitlyn Boyle. Said LDB President Kenneth Marcus, “We are very excited to introduce Steve, Mandy, and Kaitlyn to our team. They will be a vital part of our day-to-day business.”

Mandy Jiang

I am Steven, and I am a rising sophomore at Clark University.  While at Clark, I plan to major in Political Science and minor in Women’s and Gender Studies, as well as be a part of the International Studies Stream. Raised in Germantown, Maryland, I take interest in music, Jewish affairs, international affairs, gender issues, and seeing both sides of a debate. I truly enjoy the fact that my university allows for and encourages open, respectful dialogue. My campus does in fact have a chapter of SJP (Students for Justice in Palestine), however they, like most other Clarkies, are not disrespectful in how they go about their agendas. I have seen with my own eyes how people from two completely opposing groups have respectful, humane discussions. That is what I love about Clark University- I wish more schools were like it.

Kaitlyn Boyle

Mandy Jiang is an MPA graduate student at USC specializing in nonprofit management. She is a proponent for civil rights and strives to contribute to LDB’s efforts as a Development intern during the 2014 summer semester.

Kaitlyn Boyle received her BA in History from the Catholic University of America in DC and just finished her 2L year at Northeastern University School of Law in Boston. She has previously interned for Judge Schwartz on the Federal Appeals Court for the Third Circuit and at the American Council on Education. Before going to law school, she taught high school English for two years as a part of teacher For America in Charlotte, NC.

We are all very excited to contribute to the Brandeis Center’s mission to eradicate global and domestic anti-Semitism.
