This morning, the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law (LDB) and Scholars for Peace in the Middle East (SPME) have joined together to express concern over hate and bias at Connecticut College, specifically regarding the recent vicious retaliation suffered by Philosophy Professor Andrew Pessin.

The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law, a Washington, D.C.-based civil rights group, this afternoon announced the formation of new student chapters at three Chicago law schools.

Today, the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law commends the University of California at Los Angeles’ Undergraduate Student Assembly Council (USAC) for recently passing a resolution that will fight anti-Semitism.

This afternoon, the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law (LDB) commended Loyola University Chicago for presenting the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) student organization with a letter indicating that SJP is temporarily prevented from hosting any on-campus activities or events until their leadership meets with Loyola University Chicago representatives and the group complies with stated policies and procedures that apply to all student organizations. 

The Brandeis Center has announced the appearance of Mike Gonzalez as new guest blogger on the popular Brandeis Center Blog . In introducing Mr. Gonzalez, the Brandeis Center underscores the immediate need to address Title VI funding to universities under the Higher Education Act.
