From BigLaw to Public Interest Advocate: Fighting Racism and Bigotry

On Wednesday, January 27, LDB President Kenneth L. Marcus will address students at Emory Law School on the topic of, “From BigLaw to Public Interest Advocate: Fighting Racism and Bigotry.” President Marcus will speak about his career trajectory, starting from his work in big law at several top law firms, to his work as a government lawyer – where he lead the Office for Civil Rights in the U.S. Department of Education and served as Staff Director for the U.S. Commission for Civil Rights, and how he founded the Brandeis Center, to combat the resurgence in campus anti-Semitism.
