The Brandeis Center filed a lawsuit against Origins High School, the City of New York, the New York City Department of Education, and senior officials alleging that the university has failed to address persistent antisemitism against teachers, leading to a hostile workplace.

The complaint alleges that when the situation got so dangerous that a campus administrator demanded action from DOE, the DOE retaliated against them and removed them from the school.
