Tilting at the Windmills of John Kerry’s Mind

I suggest that Barbra Streisand, no doubt a John Kerry admirer, be invited to the State Department to sing her version of “The Windmills of Your Mind” (English lyrics by Alan Bergman and Marilyn Bergman). No need to update the lyrics:

“Like a tunnel that you follow
To a tunnel of it’s own
Down a hollow to a cavern
Where the sun has never shone
Like a door that keeps revolving
In a half-forgotten dream
Or the ripples from a pebble
Someone tosses in a stream”

Avi Issacharoff in “The Times of Israel”: “Kerry’s framework and the ideas he presented led to an extraordinary phone call taking place between a senior Palestinian Authority official and an Israeli counterpart, during which the two mocked the senior diplomat’s naivete and his failure to understand the regional reality.”

Herb Keinon in the “Jerusalem Post”: “It takes a certain artistry to irritate and annoy not only the Israeli left and the Israeli right at the same time, but also both Jerusalem and Ramallah.”

Of course, the ultimate authors of every Jewish song lyric from Tin Pan Alley are the Elders of Zion.

Josh Marshall writes: “It should go without saying that the Israel-US alliance becomes more brittle as it becomes more clearly identified with a single US political party. And perhaps more than that, as it becomes more clearly identified with the ties between Netanyahu and US Republicans.”

While Andrew Sullivan, the unfrocked Pope of the Church of Hate Israel Now, informs his readers: “The more US money the Israelis get, the more contempt they exhibit toward the US.”

We all know from Eric Cantor’s resounding reelection to the House that Jewish money always buys elections.

We all know that in the last two presidential elections that Jewish money was hostile to Obama.

According to the “Jerusalem Post:” “Over the past few days, Hamas has executed more than 30 civilians from various parts of the Gaza Strip which it suspected of collaborating with Israel, unidentified Palestinian security sources told the Palestine Press News.”

In the U.S., Hamas’ apologists don’t use bullets but other means to assassinate the character of friends of Israel.
