The Brandeis Center Welcomes its 4000th Facebook “Like”

Justice Louis D. Brandeis

The Louis Brandeis Center is pleased today to be “liked” by its 4000th fan on Facebook.  (Thank you, Miguel Lopez.)  As we celebrate this milestone, it is a good time to take stock of our vibrant Facebook fan community, which has enjoyed a weekly total reach often rising into the tens of thousands.  Over the last several months, we have enjoyed increasing engagement on our Facebook page  from our many fans.

These fans mostly hail from at least twenty countries, with the greatest representation from the United States, Canada, Israel, Mexico, Germany, India, and the United Kingdom.  Unsurprisingly, our most popular cities are New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Chicago and Los Angeles.  While our readers are primarily English-readers, we also enjoy a readership that speaks dozens of other languages, including not only Spanish, French, German and Hebrew, but also Turkish, Greek, Romanian, Malay, and Catalan.

These readers have commented extensively on our many posts, which include campus anti-Semitism, global anti-Semitism, virulent anti-Israelism, and the BDS movement.  We have also addressed discrimination against many other groups, including Asians, Hindus, Arabs, Muslims, and Sikhs.  Facebook is a great compliment to our Brandeis Brief newsletter, our Twitter presence @klmarcus, and of course subscription to our Brandeis Center Blog feed.

If you care to engage more closely with our campaign against campus anti-Semitism, please follow us on all of these platforms.  And we extend a special thank you to all of our fans who are also supporting our research, education and legal advocacy through contributions which are tax-deductible in the United States under section 501(c)(3).  Please consider supporting us now, even in small amounts, if you have not done so before.
