Evan Slavitt is the General Counsel at the Brandeis Center. Most recently, he was the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Mr. Slavitt started his career in the U.S. Department of Justice first as a trial attorney and then as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Massachusetts. He then was a trial lawyer in private practice until he moved in-house in 2007. Mr. Slavitt is a graduate of Harvard Law School where he served on the Harvard Law Review and has a B.A. and M.A. in economics from Yale University.
