The Brandeis Center is proud to announce its new spring interns for 2017, Caitlyn Carmichael and Edward Kunz. Caitlyn and Edward will bring their diverse experiences and skills to the advancement of justice for all.

The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law welcomes Katherine Hung as a winter intern. Katherine, a freshman at Harvard College, will work with the organization this month to combat anti-Semitism and promote the civil rights of Jewish students.

Today, the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law (LDB) commends U.S. Senators Tim Scott (R-SC) and Bob Casey (D-PA) for introducing the bipartisan Anti-Semitism Awareness Act of 2016.

This week, Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law (LDB) President Kenneth L. Marcus will be a featured speaker at the “Real Talk Conference 2016: Difficult Questions About Race, Sex, and Religion” at the Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities at Bard College.

The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law (LDB) is pleased to welcome two new Civil Rights Legal Fellows to the staff, Hana Ma and Rachel Leach.

Today, following recent reports of anti-Semitic, racist, and hateful social media postings at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville, the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law (LDB) called on the Tennessee State Legislature to address whether the series of anti-Semitic incidents violate Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Today, the Brandeis Center announced its next batch of law student events.

Brandeis Center’s Kenneth L. Marcus will speak at a symposium at Oberlin College on Thursday, September 22, on “Building a Hate-Free Campus Through Civil Discourse.”

The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights under Law (LDB) is pleased to welcome their newest member, Kailee Jordan, who will be joining the LDB team as a Communications and Development Intern. 

Earlier this month, San Francisco State University released a 24-page investigative report, compiled by the Van Dermyden Maddux Law Corporation, detailing the disruption by anti-Israel student activists of an April 6, 2016, event featuring Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat.
