Brandeis Center: Law School Chapters

Brandeis Center chapters are part of a national network of students determined to combat resurgent anti-Semitism. These chapters are building a new generation of leaders. Chapter members have access to programs and activities that enhance their law school experience and prepare them for successful careers. Brandeis Center staff and Fellows also assist Chapters in advocating for their members’ civil rights on campus. In turn, chapters support the Brandeis Center’s work combating anti-Semitism on college and university campuses.

Brandeis Campus chapters are essential to closing a gap in American legal education, combining legal training with attention to Jewish Civil Rights issues. Chapters provide speaker events to broadly educate their campus community about Jewish civil rights and enable their members to take hold of the tools and information to engage in Jewish civil rights advocacy. They also develop relationships with other student organizations, especially groups that share their commitment to civil and human rights. Chapter leaders join Brandeis Center staff in pushing campus administrations to address anti-Semitic incidents more effectively.

Chapter leadership from different schools will come together at an annual conference to share best practices and learn from LDB’s network of attorneys.
