Over the past year, the global Jewish community has been shaken. As Jewish parents, we have individually and collectively faced heartbreaking and fearful moments. Many of us feel overwhelmed and unprepared for how to raise children to face a world in which our enemies abroad openly seek our destruction and our neighbors at home often sympathize with our enemies. And yet, as mothers and fathers, we are tasked with modeling resilience and instilling in our children a sense of Jewish resolve. The panel will discuss how Jewish education and formation inspired them to take action in their professional spheres. We will also explore their visions for how we can raise this next generation of American Jews to feel empowered in the face of adversity and to adopt a profound sense of responsibility for the State of Israel. Denise Katz-Prober, Director of Legal Initiatives at the Brandeis Center, will be speaking at this event. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 8:00PM ET.
