The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law (LDB) is proud to announce its new spring intern for 2018, Jacob May. Jacob brings his diverse experiences and skills to the advancement of justice for all. Over the next few months, Jacob will assist in conducting research, writing press releases, and drafting articles for the Brandeis Blog. “We are honored to have Jacob join our team this spring,” says LDB Director of Legal Initiatives Aviva Vogelstein. “With his talent and passion, he will make great contributions to our work against campus anti-Semitism.” Jacob is a senior at Cornell University majoring in Government and pursuing minors in Public Policy, International Relations, and Law & Society. This semester, Jacob is participating in the prestigious Cornell in Washington program, wherein students get to live and learn in Washington D.C., as well as engage in an internship. Jacob decided on the Louis D. Brandeis Center for his internship due to the fact it will provide him with “a tremendous learning opportunity and offers a unique glimpse into my future as a civil/human rights advocate and attorney.” Jacob is originally from Dallas Texas, and enjoys playing golf in his spare time.
