The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law (LDB) announced this afternoon the election of leading Boston litigator Jeffery S. Robbins Esq., to the Center’s Board of Directors. Mr. Robbins, who previously served as a member of LDB’s Legal Advisory Board, was elected during LDB’s Annual Meeting on October 12.

On September 26 – the midpoint of the “Days of Awe” between the Jewish high holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur – Stoughton high school teacher Stella Martin will stand in judgment during an arbitration hearing.

Today, the U.S. Congress’ Bipartisan Taskforce for Combating Anti-Semitism issued an important letter in support of the European Parliament for its adoption, earlier this month, of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) definition of anti-Semitism.

The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law welcomes Katherine Hung as a winter intern. Katherine, a freshman at Harvard College, will work with the organization this month to combat anti-Semitism and promote the civil rights of Jewish students.

Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law (LDB) called on the Tennessee State Legislature to address whether the series of anti-Semitic incidents violate Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
