Richard Rosen is the Senior Vice President for Legal Advocacy at the Brandeis Center. He was a partner in the Litigation Department of Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison from 1986 until his retirement at the end of 2022, where he was co-chair of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement practice group. He is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Law School, where he teaches a seminar in complex litigation, and has been a visiting professor at leading law schools in Ukraine, Hungary, and Lithuania. He will be a Visiting Professor at Hebrew University Law School in Jerusalem in March 2026. He is a member of the Board of governors of the American Jewish Committee and is also a Board member of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee
