Ms. Lewin’s appointment follows the confirmation of her predecessor and LDB Founder, Kenneth Marcus, to the position of Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights in the Department of Education. December 4, 2017 December 2017 – Progress in DC and in Florida November was characterized by a flurry of activity for the Brandeis Center. A pathbreaking decision has been undertaken by the village of Bal Harbor, who decided in late November, after testimony from the Louis D.
